Wes Craven is back once again for another scary take on his infamous Scream series, however, number three isn't quite as good as its predecessors. With the many twists and turns that the Scream series is famous for it adds to the "I've seen it all before" comment. The movies has visitations from past characters but now Sidney learns that the killer who was in the past two Screams is actually not who she thought at all. There was an overall mastermind who is unmasked in the final Scream. Unfortunately the movie lacks plot and seems to concentrate on scaring the audience rather than establishing a comprehensible storyline. The opinion is that Craven probably should have stopped at number two and concentrated his efforts on another project. If you're after another scary movie I recommend getting a classic. However, if you want to see what Scream 3 is all about, by all means hire it, just make sure you also hire something else as well.
