Review:

The movie starts with an astounding amount of coincidences that leads up to Alex Browning having a premonition of his own death, and of his friends on the very plane they are on. Alex realises he must get off the plane before it takes off in order to avoid death and he urges others to follow him. Apprehensively some of his school friends get off with him because they believe him and that belief is reinforced when the plane they were on explodes in mid air. However the problem now lies that they were meant to die on that flight and fate struggles to reassert itself through using casual association and a strange number of coincidences to kill those who were meant to die. Alex must work out Death's plan in order to save not only himself, but his friends also. The movie finishes with prospect of a sequel and leaves the viewer wondering. A nicely charged supernatural movie that, although far fetched, has merit in the certain events that lead to a character's death. Entertaining and exciting, Devon Sawa does a nice job of portraying the sometimes neurotic main character Alex Browning. This movie is definitely for those who like to buy into the supernatural and chaotic genre.
