Review:

American life depicted at its best. It follows the path of one man's life within the time span of a week or two from his birth until his death. In this time he manages to recapture his lost youth and break free from the shackles of adult life. The movie contains so many levels that it's hard to process them all at once. It looks at the life of Lester (Spacey) in detail but touches on each characters life allowing the viewer insight into their lives. Extremely emotional and impactful, this movie is so well written that you just want to remember the lines from it in order to recite them in poetry. The cinematography and direction is superb and it stirs certain emotions in you that you never knew you had. Very deep and insightful, it gives everyone a look at what goes on behind the closed doors of someone's house. No wonder it won best picture. If you haven't seen it, slap yourself first and then go out and hire it.
