Natalie(Cameron Diaz), Dylan(Drew Barrymore), and Alex(Lucy Liu) are Charlies Angels. Bosley(Bill Murray) is their watcher. Having never seen the original series I cannot say how the movie related to it in regards to whether it was better or worse. However I'm sure the original Charlie's Angels didn't have half the nifty moves these girls have. This movie offers a lot of action, a couple of laughs and a typical American action movie storyline. By typical I mean it has a couple of attempted shock twists to it but in the end the good guys win and the bad guys lose and you know it's going to happen long before it does. It has the typical creapy bad guy that proves tough to kill. The bad guy who you don't expect to be the bad guy. For a while anyway. And of course, the bad woman. The stars of the movie were Cameron Diaz, who was both beautiful, deadly and funny, and I also liked Bill Murray who was just funny and very good at carving with his teeth. As long as you don't go and see this movie with expectations of a cinematic masterpiece and just go for some good fun you'll enjoy it. If you liked the action of Mission Impossible 2 and The Matrix you'll like this.
